And it's pure hypocrisy for many of those who say Clinton's womanizing was wrong to now say Clinton's pal Trump's is okay because he switched parties to become a Republican. Trump defended Bill Clinton throughout the Paul Jones affair. By the way, so many want to say Trump gets a pass on his bad behavior because he wasn't president yet. Well, Clinton wasn't president when he sexually harassed Paul Jones either. And by the time that was over Clinton was rightly disbarred and fined nearly a million dollars. Some Freepers may recall. Character does matter. It's not just for pastors.

The allegations are not "hitting on." They run the gamut from physical assault, consensual relationships, to defamation of character. I'm pretty sure you can look it up if you wish. You can attack me all you wish. I was never on who was friends with Bill Clinton, like Trump was. I never gave Hillary Clinton money.

If President Trump didn't care about any of this, why does he campaign with Evangelicals and feign a putative interest in Christian values? Why did he pay the hush money if not of it's true?

Hedonism and narcissism are not conservative values. It's too bad that Trump has confused so many people on this matter.

I understand that turning a blind eye to Bill Clinton’s behavior was a Democrat Party approach. Conservatives howled when it went on and now many think it will work with the former Bill Clinton defender and friend, President Trump. Putting loyalty to a man over loyalty to the truth is a mistake that will do serious and long term harm to the conservative movement. Recent election results (Alabama Senate race and P-18 in Pennsylvania) show that the growth of the conservative movement has, at best, peaked. All of these gratuitous scandals do not help bring the focus back to the priorities that strengthen our country. Character matters. Morals matter. Whoever says otherwise is ignoring thousands of years of evidence and simply being an opportunist at best and a hypocrite at the worst.

Unless the trajectory changes and we find that Trump has been honest all along, highly unlikely considering the perjury charges to many close to him and other proven lies, we’ll need to rebuild the conservative movement that was hijacked by Trump and other fake conservatives. The foundation will not based on Trumpism. It will be based on timeless truths.
