Employee of liberal activist group charged with assaulting Zinke staffer

An operative for American Bridge 21st Century (Founder DAVID BROCK), a pro-Democrat political action committee, has been charged with assaulting a staffer working for Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, according to the Associated Press.

Wilfred Stark was charged with simple assault after he allegedly approached Zinke, yelling at him, outside of a hearing. Stark then “used his full body to push” Zinke's spokeswoman, Heather Swift, as she moved to leave the room, according to the police report cited by the AP.

“He is a big guy. He came up behind me fast, aggressive and very physical,” Swift said in a statement to the AP on Monday, calling the encounter "terrifying."

“Who knows what this lunatic was thinking?”

CHIEF ROESSLER DEFENDS OFFICERS AFTER PARADE ARREST

Tonight, Chief Edwin C. Roessler Jr. defended his officers involved in an arrest Saturday morning at the annual Annandale Parade.

The man was standing in the street at Gallows Road and Columbia Pike blocking the start of the parade, cursing, and causing a disturbance. The preliminary investigation shows that our officers asked him to move out of the street and to stop using obscene language due to other parade spectators around him.

The man refused to comply with the commands and other officers assisted with placing him under arrest. Due to his refusal to comply with police orders, to include showing his hands, he was taken to the ground to maintain control and ensure the safety of not only the officers, but also others in the area. Wilfred Michael Stark III, 49 of Falls Church, was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.

This afternoon the man who disrupted a community parade in October in Annandale was found guilty of disorderly conduct and fined $500 in the Fairfax County General District Court. Judge Mark Simmons told the courtroom that officers gave Wilfred Michael Stark III “a lot of breaks” and that he went from “being a reporter to an actor.” Stark was found not guilty of resisting arrest.

Chief Edwin C. Roessler, Jr. said this afternoon “I am pleased with the judge’s decision. I continue to stand behind the great men and women of the Fairfax County Police Department who work diligently to keep our community members safe every day.” Our Internal Affairs Bureau continues to investigate this incident. To maintain transparency, we will provide updates if there are significant develops.

Liberals will seek to exaggerate archeological concerns to prevent energy extraction over a widespread area... hope he addresses the legit concerns and the leases are vetted by archaeeologists to neuter the effort to turn it into an emotional issue rather than ignoring it and letting them go all Dakota Access over it.
