2 Republican senators suggest they’d support impeaching Trump if he fired Mueller (Flake & Graham)
Vox ^ | March 20, 2018 | Andrew Prokop

Amid recent chatter that Trump could fire special counsel Robert Mueller, Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ) both suggested Tuesday that if the president took that step, impeachment would be the appropriate response.

Graham and Flake’s commitments to this position were hardly rock-solid and may well not be shared by very many other Republicans in the Senate (or the House of Representatives, which is where the impeachment process would have to begin). Still, the statements are a significant warning to Trump from two members of his own party about how Mueller’s dismissal could end for him.

First, when asked by radio host Hugh Hewitt Tuesday morning if firing Mueller would be an impeachable offense, Graham responded, “Probably so, if he did it without cause.”

They would make a great new laxative cereal, “Graham Flakes”.

Eat them and you’ll crap till next week.

just listening to those two idiots makes me want to take a dump.

Now you know why the Republicans are in trouble in Congress - “We looked at the enemy and the enemy was us”.

Notice how they were perfectly okay with every flatulent thing Obama did.

I am quite sure that all of the Republican senators would impeach Trump, but they would leave the necessary number to whatever usual suspects are in the senate at the time so the rest could pretend that they oppose it.

They are all lying whores.

If you try to pull this stunt, you will reap the whirlwind.

And the people on our side aren't known for shooting up baseball fields willy nilly, and not taking out a single one of their targets.

These are two frickin’ jerks, let there be no doubt about that.

But you wonder why they go out and SAY things like this.

I guess it’s because they are frickin’ jerks.

Senators don’t do impeachment. That is the job of the house.

the MOMENT it was discovered HRC/DNC funded the Fusion GPS dossier, the Mueller investigation should have been shut down. period.

after that, a different, independent, Special Counsel should have been appointed to investigate all the suspects we now know were involved in attempting to prevent Donald Trump becoming President, and deligitimizing him/attempting to impeach him once he became President.

Evil idiots. Wonder how much money they got from Hillary and the Dems.

It is not money they got. It is a phone call in the middle of the night warning them their FBI file will be released if they don't act a certain way.

Remember, Hillary gathered up all the FBI files when Bill was president.

"‘Our’ fed govt. is so corrupt it cannot be redeemed. It’s all over but the screaming and the dying.

A patriot right wing military coup might work. Hold nationally televised impeachment trials for all Congress members guilty of violating their oath to defend the Constitution. Hold nationally televised impeachment trials of about 85% of all judges on all benches for violating their oath of office to defend the Constitution. Make Constitutional amendment stating that no persons are allowed to vote who have accepted government assistance within the last 5 years. (No more politicians buying votes with taxpayer money). Etc.

Course, there'd have to be some kind of suspension of some civil rights to get that accomplished. Not sure how that would go down. Probably a civil war. I know what side I would be on. I got plenty of ammo.

Isn’t flake quitting ( thank Heaven!). And McShame is supposedly dying soon? The solution ( after any interim appointments) will be for Arizonans to elect reputable honorable replacements. Pray they do it. !!

This is why Trump is prattling about this sham investigation, trying to convince Congress to demand that Mueller be shelved, if Muller can’t bring this witch hunt to a swift conclusion.

Trump would appreciate it if WE would demand it, as well, hoping we press our representatives, to call them and tell them to demand the Justice Department wrap Muller up.

Trump is boxed in by RINOS and Leftists. He can not fire Muller.

I like the way you think. There’s no easy way to fix this mess. No ‘pretty’ way out.

1. Convene a convention of the states to audit ‘our’ corrupt stasi state called the fed govt. Hold nuremberg-style treason trials and mass hanging on the national mall.

2. Trump needs to go full pinochet on the traitorous scum in D.C. Call in the marines...Helicopter rides. Whatever it takes.

If those ideas are not successful, the people will have to deal with it.

there are plenty of articles on the following. why not post them on FR instead of the negative stuff?

20 Mar: The Hill: GOP leaders back second special counsel
By Scott Wong and Melanie Zanona
Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) said Monday he backs the appointment of another special counsel to look at how law enforcement has handled the Russia probe. Scalise’s statement echoed similar calls from Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) over the weekend.
The moves align the No. 2 and No. 3 House GOP leaders with President Trump, who could be a factor in a future leadership race between the two friendly rivals...

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) have called on Sessions and Rosenstein to appoint a second special counsel to investigate “potential criminality” related to the surveillance warrant application for Page.
They also called for a review of any evidence of “bias” by Justice Department or FBI employees, as well as whether there was any “extraneous influence” on the surveillance process...

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) sent a letter to Sessions and Rosenstein last week asking for a special counsel to “gather all the facts.”

The Justice Department’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, is already investigating potential FISA abuses. But Republicans argue the inspector general does not have the prosecutorial authority needed to conduct a full investigation of the FBI’s actions.
“An inspector general does not have subpoena power,” McCarthy said. “We need somebody to look at this, and not from the inside — because you can’t trust what’s happening right now.”
In his statement, Scalise argued it’s the only way to ensure the public has full faith in Mueller’s findings...

“He can not fire Muller.”

He can and he should fire mueller before he produces a ‘legal fig leaf’ for the repukis in congress to impeach him. Why give them a fig leaf at all? Pull the trigger right now!

The swamp wants him gone...Both parties, our corrupt administrative state, our corrupt courts, and the fakestream media. Might as well drop the hammer and get this party started.
