Oh, yes. Turning the other cheek certainly impresses the Left. After running out of cheeks, conservatives should feel free to speak up in defense of the Right. This is supposed to be a nation in which God-given freedom of speech and religion are not infringed upon by the government.

A man can only turn the other cheek once. Then, they are both used. At which point a man can smile as he says "go ahead ... swing a third time". It was never wise for Christians to raise pacifists in a world that hates us. We are to be "slow to anger", but not "entirely without anger".
