EXCLUSIVE: Fired FBI official authorized criminal probe of Sessions, sources say

Nearly a year before Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired senior FBI official Andrew McCabe for what Sessions called a "lack of candor," McCabe oversaw a federal criminal investigation into whether Sessions lacked candor when testifying before Congress about contacts with Russian operatives, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News.

He was before Congress because he accepted the job. I’m guessing in his mind, he would have been admitting guilt if he quit at that point. He wasn’t guilty. He isn’t guilty of Russian collusion. Trump isn’t guilty of Russian collusion. The Swamp acts extremely guilty.
It was an ex-Leahy staffer Judge Beryl Howe [Howell?] that signed off on Mueller’s request to initiate the Russia investigation

Fake news. This story was meant to portray the firing of McCabe as a personal vendetta by Sessions.
