Horrid people doing horrid things. Yecch. One simple solution if it is not your principle residence it just ain’t a BNB suitable for SFR zoning. Hello Mr. Fire Marshall. Hello Mr. Tax Certificate Guy. Hello ADA Compliance Gal. Hello Parking Enforcement Wench. Hello Health Department Lady. Hello Liquor License Czar. What? That’s too much? So sad, your bad, bye!!!
In this case the owner bought the home JUST TO RENT through Airbnba residential street in one of the most affluent towns in MA.
Frightening.
This is not uncommon and why AirBnB regulation is inevitable.
Thats what our neighbors did. They live in another state.
Even if the owners think that they know whos renting through Airbnb, the renters can invite unknowns.
If we had wanted a parade of unknown people next door every dadgum day we would have bought somewhere else.
Also, even a simple and basic aspect of this changes the lives of neighbors for the worse. For example, vacation renters come and go often and all hours. Car doors slamming and people outside talking while they haul luggage in and out at odd hours happens continuously. Thats one of many issues.
Putting in an Airbnb is just not a thing Id do to my neighbors.
