That won’t change anything. The violent criminals have their gun running channels. Why don’t you send money to the police to help them get the illegal guns?

Fruser1 #9.

I like the way you think.

I like the way you Link.

Citi’s message stank,

so let’s leave the bank.

Leftists talk,
Our money walks!

AKA “Take the money and run” Find a patriotic bank and let us know which one it is.

#19. Glad I bought my beautiful Remington rifle from Sears in the ‘60s. Right after the DC and Baltimore riots which left the Sears’ store I was working in very vulnerable to looting and which would have threatened our family store except for the very well armed and brave liquor store owners/staff who armed up their place. They had their people tell the neighborhood that anyone who tried to loot them would be killed.

The whole block was as quiet as a bunch of dead crickets.

#31. Great idea. Let me expand it.

Re “Big red states like TX and FL. need to pull their money from CITI.”

If you can find a conservative state governor/legislature that will do it, then you will have started something big.

Re “The GOP needs to put up or shut up on 2A”.

Okay But they NEED to PULL their bank accounts from CITI and any other bank that screws with the 2nd Amendment. A lot of smaller banks would love to jump into the ocean while the bigger sharks are getting speared.

Local GOP organizations can, on their own, withdraw their money from unfriendly banks, not buy at certain leftist stores, tell radio stations that they are no longer listening to them because of their leftist sponsors (OK, it will just shake them up a little but it’s worth making them sweat), and put up POSTERS/BILLBOARDS telling the locals why you did this.

MAKE OUR POSITIONS KNOWN TO THE PUBLIC AND SEE HOW MANY NEW SUPPORTERS YOUR GROUPS CAN GAIN.

The Left/Democrats hate us anyway, so what they think doesn’t count.

"Corporate America gets into the gun-grabbing game."

Wat? Citi has been blue-lining gun shops for a decade. This release could be from '08 with a few small things added - it's just virtue-signaling nonsense.

What’s more likely to causes mass shootings? Unconstitutional infringement upon the 2nd or no infringement? Well if there is no infringement how could there be “mass” shootings? A mass shooting can only occur if the victims have no form of protection. So when people call for more infringement, it does the opposite of what they think it does: It’s gets more people killed. A mass shooting by some lunatic is not a situation where you surrender and the shooting stops. No, it only stops when the killer is neutralized and cellphones are pretty ineffective when it comes to that. So what Citi is doing is endorsing more murders.

They are being really stupid. People can always go buy guns with CASH. Then, there is LESS credit card activity.

On March 16, 2018, the General Services Administration (GSA) announced the award of the DoD Government Travel Charge Card task order under the SmartPayR 3 master contract to Citigroup. This task order will support the mission needs of over 1.7 million travelers and facilitate a potential $65 billion in charge card and related payment transactions for the Department of Defense travel program over the total period of performance through 2031.
