Wait a minute. This doesn’t sound right. How can the Republican Party of Virginia expel anyone? This is not the Soviet Union, where people out of favor get expelled from the Communist Party.

If this guy, Fredy Burgos, wants to call himself a Republican, then he is a Republican. And he can run as a Republican. No one has the power to prevent that.

“That is the only allegation identified in the RPV Petition calling for Burgos’ expulsion from the State Central Committee.” They want him off the statewide committee. He can continue to call himself a Republican or anything else he chooses.
