ARNOLD, Mo. - An employee at a pawn shop in Arnold shot and killed a would-be robber Thursday afternoon..
Aside from the staff, the clientele of a pawn shop is probably close to 100% armed. Darwin Award.

Over the years I have become good friends with the fellows that run the local gun/pawn shop and have been behind the counter and such and there are guns everywhere under the counter and most of the staff open carries.
I was in there a few years back and a couple of rough looking guys came in acting strange. I was near the firearms section and noted the staff all had noticed their entrance and behavior and they began moving without a word to different sections of the shop. I moved as well to a place where I wouldn’t get caught in a possible crossfire. These two acted real squirrely for about ten minutes and then beat a hasty retreat having not really looked at anything or bought anything.
The pawn shop did the community a favor in removing this slug from the gene pool, although I await the video where the wailing creature who gave birth to it tells us what a good boy he was and how he wouldn’t hurt anyone despite his lengthy criminal record...
what really astounded me about that news report is those people are only payin $2.23/gal for gas!
Had a guy try and holdup a local pawn shop with a knife. He comes in a pulls the knife, the guys working thought it was a joke because they all open carry. The dumbass advances on the workers, workers pull out guns, dumbass continues to advance toward the employees. Dumbass gets shot, only in floriduh
