There should have been hundreds of thousands of gun owners in the streets yesterday carrying signs and gettin in people's faces. There were a few but not enough. I wasn't there. I should've been. We all should've been.
Are gun owners going to put up a fight in the face of losing their jobs, their savings accounts, their homes, having their kids taken away from them? Losing their freedom? Losing their lives?
I know we all think we're going to turn into a bunch of William Wallaces screaming "Freedom!" but we couldn't even attend a rally yesterday as Tide pod-eating teens bellowed that they're coming for our guns while the media cheered them on.
The whole thing is depressing. We'd better get serious.
Gun owners don’t demonstrate. They reload.
