ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ is what the Spartan king, Leonidas I is said to have told the Persian Emperor Xerxes I, when Xerxes demanded that they lay down their arms.
It means, “Come and Take Them!”
The same motto was used by Texicans in the battle of Gonzales in the first battle of the Texas war for independence. That war started with the Mexican tyrant Santa Anna attempted to disarm the Texas citizens of Mexico. While some of this has been revealed chiefly through the talk show circuit. They have limited resources to conduct thorough investigations They may not view it worthy of devoted airtime. The shooter here was allowed by policy to do what he did and there must be more episodes of permissive examples Those policies which have put kids going to that school in danger only been briefly mentioned not used as a counter which it should be to the media’s agenda.
How in the insane politically correct world of education could this sweatshirt be tolerated? The Spartans were the epitome of toxic masculinity, abducted women to rape them for prodigy, taught all their male children to kill and likely committed man spreading. Wearing this sweatshirt would certainly be a micro aggression and give precious snow flakes the vapors. Worse still this mascot would be used to rally students for toxic masculine events like football.
