So, if you are not a citizen and get caught dealing two pounds of Coke, you spend a few years worrying about dropping the soap, but if you’re not a citizen they just kick you out of the country?

I choose door number two.

I think given the choice, I’d prefer going to prison over going to Mexico.

But once you get to mexico you can be free to work or do what it takes to go somewhere else.

Heck, get fake ID and come back to the US. :)

Another sanitation attempt here.

Over 2 pounds is left wing code for a kilo of cocaine.

He was a local major dealer with the Mexican Mafia if he had a kilo/2.2 pounds of coke.

In 2010, he was convicted in Cook County, Illinois, on charges related to delivering more than 2 pounds of cocaine to an undercover officer. He was sentenced to 15 years, and had served half his sentence when ICE began deportation proceedings. He had been in the agency’s custody since 2016.

Maybe I misread the part when he was an anchor baby or perhaps that was another poster that said that?

Being a veteran does not excuse the lawbreaking.

On the other hand, I am not in favor of allowing non-citizens to join the U.S. armed forces to begin with, nor the use of that as a path to citizenship; unless it was “war time” as in World War II; not these regional disputes we place ourselves into.

Perhaps it was another poster.

He came here at age 8 so he was not an anchor baby.

It sounds like he was legal up until he was convicted of selling a kilo of coke.

What are we doing with illegals in our military to start with? Get ‘em out of there!
