Self-defense is more than a right. It is a responsibility.

Make no mistake; the evil gun grabbers definitely want to make you as defenseless as possible. This is what evil tyrants and ideologies (leftists) do. Kill them first.

They will decide whose lives are worth defending. You just can’t be trusted with such an important task.

Absolutely right.
Liberals seek to take guns from honest, non-violent people while leaving them in the hands of violent criminals. They make laws that turn honest people into criminals, thus enabling law enforcement to claim that they are arresting the criminals.
There is no doubt.

The objective of all gun control is confiscation of guns.

It will not happen.
If we have not yet learned to “just say no”, we will.
And our “no” will be definite and will not be changed.

The problem here is that one side of the discussion is trying to use logic when the other side is using emotion.

Republicans in Congress should offer the following:
When any citizen is injured by a weapon in any criminal action, if the US State where said injury occurred shall have debarred its citizens from any item of personal security, that citizen may seek compensation in Federal court. Court costs will be waived and counsel will be provided from the DoJ Civil Rights Division. I'd like to add recourse for those injured by protected illegal aliens against policy makers and recidivist criminals against parole boards. The latter two I'd like to make them personally liable, as it is their judgement that caused the injury.

During Saturdays March For Our Lives event, the few good things the young gun control activists said were sadly overshadowed by the absurd, and one of the most ridiculous was a female student who told the cheering crowd, Guns do not defend - they kill, maim, and destroy.Facts do not matter to these nutbars, so debate is pointless. I think I'll join the NRA just to annoy them further.

No one can take away your right to self defense, or any other of your natural rights for that matter.
You can lose government acknowledgment protection of those rights, but you never lose the right itself.
That’s why I don’t like phrases like “First Amendment Rights” or “Second Amendment Rights” - as it wrongly implies the source, rather than merely the protector, of those rights as being The Constitution, rather than The Creator.
