A new documentary by CBS News reveals that Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg, who has become the face of the student body’s push for gun control, was not at the school at the time of the shooting.
The bombshell comes from David Hogg himself, who made the admission to a CBS News interviewer as part of the documentary “39 Days.”

At 4 minutes 55 sec. of video Hogg says:
DAVID HOGG: "On the day of the shooting, I got my camera and got on my bike and road as fast as I could three miles from my house to the school to get as much video and to get as many interviews as I could because I knew that this could not be another mass shooting."

UPDATE: CBS Video Confusing. Hogg Was On Campus.
"After reviewing all of this, it appears that the problem was that CBS included a very confusing quote without context. Hogg was on campus during the shooting and returned several hours later to interview people across the street......"

I was in a mass shooting in my building.
I think they sound like they were in one.
They are also young without other life experiences to shape their opinions.
I can’t imagine being a kid in a mass shooting. I can’t imagine having to go to school knowing classmates and teachers were killed.
I don’t agree with these kids, but I can empathize with them.
I had nightmares for weeks after the shooting (and randomly after that). You are mentally and emotionally drained.
I hate that the media is using these kids.
Just calling them as I see them. Mass hysterics sound better?
Any facts I post would be labeled as “opinion, hence I offered the sound advice to do you own investigation and not rely on the opinions of others.

I agree. I would NEVER have allowed my kids be used the way this kid has been used,much to his own enjoyment.
He will soon crash,and that will be tough for him.Another thing is there are no doubt many in the country who would like to beat him to a pulp. Scary stuff.

I’m wondering if we’re missing something in the context of the CBS video. In the Laura ingraham interview clip, it’s clear that they are talking about the Parkland shooting and that he was in the school when it happened. I am not at all doubting that this kid is a liar, I’m inclined to think that the conflicting statements in the two clips prove him to be just that. However, before running with a theory I want to make sure I really have all of the information/context. The CBS clip that I saw starts with creepy Hogg kid saying “on the day of the shooting I got on my bike and rode to the school, blah blah blah”. Did anyone see the full interview of that? I’m just wondering if perhaps there was more to it… You never know, maybe the interviewer was asking him about a school shooting from the past and not this particular Parkland shooting.

If that is true, then how did the police know it was Cruz? There are reports of dispatchers identifying the shooter minutes after the shooting. How did they figure out he was the shooter if he was masked?
Oh I agree whole hearty that these “survivors” are being used as pawns in the anti-gun, leftist agenda.
Nothing I’ve said should detract from this is a movement against the Second Amendment and Hogg is well aware he is being used.
I just don’t want Second Amendment supporters painted as gun crazies with wild conspiracys . There are real forces at work here sto take away our God given rights and they are in the open, if not well publicized so I don’t understand the need to create fake conspiracies
