"According to Carol Davidsen, the former media director for Obama for America, Facebook gave the 2012 Obama campaign direct access to the personal data of Facebook users in violation of its internal rules, making a special exception for the campaign."

It's okay. It was just a mistake by the over-exuberant, youthful employees at Facebook, kids making mistakes, if you will.

Let us NOT forget that CBS,NBC,ABC,CNN,MSNBC ALL withheld information regarding Hillary.DNC,Fusion,Russia in a concerted effort to sway public opinion.

Doesn’t that make Every Last Nickel they earned in Revenue for the Entire Campaign an “Illegal In-Kind Contribution” to a Presidential Campaign?? you bet it does.

FR POSTED——(hat tip Oldexpat) Facebook’s takeover by the Obama campaign is one thing.

Does it also mean Obama’s NSA and other US intel agencies are hard-wired to F/B?

<><> what exactly did Zuckerberg do to help Obama (and Hillary) get elected?

<><>did Obama (and Hillary) get F/B users personal info?

<><> are US intel agencies in cahoots with Zuckerburg?

We MUST determine this ASAP.

ANALYSIS-—Obama’s police state ran roughshod over Americans. No doubt, he also surveilled Democrats, to get info to enforce loyalty to him......

Remember O/Care’s straight party line Dem vote? Democrats marching in lockstep, echoing Obama word-for-word?

How’d Obama do that?

When I first saw the article about how Facebook let Obama’s team “explore” their databases, I wondered how that wasn’t an in-kind campaign contribution. I guess this story will get shut down quick once the MSM realizes that its going to come back to bite their golden boy on the ass.

I have always maintained that what the MSM does for the Democrat Party constitutes in-kind political donations.

These cute little ‘favors’ better be written up as ‘donations’....

Ya know what? Let’s get that smug Never-Trumper GHW Bush lawyer who was on the Stormy 60 minutes bombshow last night and ask him to compare this multi-million dollar ‘in-kind’ contribution from FB to Obama compared to Trump’s friend and lawyer paying a measly 130k to protect Trump.

Obama 2012: Kudos to a savvy candidate!

Trump 2016: We need FTC intervention!

Of course it was illegal. But Democrats did it, so no big whoop.

It should have been considered an "in kind contribution" or whatever, the value of which had to be literally tens of millions of dollars. Totally illegal on its face, as far as I understand.

Just some free, totally crooked, "under the table" illegal campaign contribution from a billionaire Democrat to the DN and its candidate.

Nothing to see here, folks. I mean, it's not like a Republican did it or something—because then it would be wrong...

Can someone explain to me where in the Constitution the Federal government, specifically Congress, is granted ANY authority over how State Legislatures choose electors for President and Vice President?

There is no such thing in the Constitution as a "Presidential election".

...Did Facebook’s ‘Favors’ For The Obama Campaign Constitute A Violation Of Federal Law?...

Of course not. The rules are ALWAYS different for Democrats and other liberals.

I’m sure they didn’t INTEND to violate the law, so no prosecutor would consider indicting.

It must be considered a campaign donation just as Trumps lawyer is being considered as one.

It’s modern left wing propaganda and very creepy.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/how-the-obama-campaign-won-the-race-for-voter-data/2013/07/28/ad32c7b4-ee4e-11e2-a1f9-ea873b7e0424_story.html?utm_term=.ffd8c603ae7a

From the article:
“But this third piece of the puzzle provided the campaign with another treasure trove of information and an organizing tool unlike anything available in the past. It took months and months to solve, but it was a huge breakthrough. If a person signed on to Dashboard through his or her Facebook account, the campaign could, with permission, gain access to that person’s Facebook friends. The Obama team called this “targeted sharing.” It knew from other research that people who pay less attention to politics are more likely to listen to a message from a friend than from someone in the campaign. The team could supply people with information about their friends based on data it had independently gathered. The campaign knew who was and who wasn’t registered to vote. It knew who had a low propensity to vote. It knew who was solid for Obama and who needed more persuasion — and a gentle or not-so-gentle nudge to vote. Instead of asking someone to send a message to all of his or her Facebook friends, the campaign could present a handpicked list of the three or four or five people it believed would most benefit from personal encouragement.”
