There is a huge benefit to Scalise if this is not #FakeNews and if Scalise stays patriotic: He has what the shallow left sees as credibility in defending our individual right to keep and bear arms. He’s been shot (unlike most professional “victims” of the latest school shooting), and he still believes in individual freedom.

I will believe it when I read it from his lying lips. Perhaps he has gotten word from Rome he has collected enough money to be declared a ‘saint’. He sure has seen fit to fleece enough dollars, from ‘we the people’, for Rome to fund their human trafficking. They sanctimoniously call it ‘charity’.
I’ve learned in the Trump Era to never believe anything from the MSM. Amazing how many people continuously get worked up with what the MSM reports. They are almost always 100% wrong.

He also denied he was going to be Speaker and then took the job. We’ll see about the newest denial.
I wouldn't be surprised. Great strategy by the #NeverTrumpers. Just a guess, but I would run a bunch of candidates against him to make him expend campaign funds better used in the general election. Since the Russian collusion didn't work and obstruction of justice has failed, there's always death by 1,000 cuts.

My immediate reaction on the passing of the omnibus spending bill was “the GOP leadership (Ryan/McConnell) don’t want control of the House.”
“Not soon enough, but I sure hope he ties McConnell to the rear bumper like a tin can when he drives off.”
