That seems like a cause for firing to me. Isn’t MacMaster a Democrat?
Everyone knew McMaster was an Obama guy from the start. My question was why was he retained so long! Trump is the source of many of his own problems starting with Session and the DOJ.
So is McMaster out yet? Bolton in yet? (When does this start or is it already in place?)
Lets assume this will shortly be fixed.
This has always been a problem when Republican administrations have taken control. Over the years the bureaucracies have become saturated with left leaning career employees who form the guts of any federal organization. They are always there to work against the conservative appointees and to make them look bad. These career employees are a major part of the swamp. Recently, Obama made a big deal of filling every career opening with one of his socialist ideologues.
Perhaps McMaster is clearing the deck so Bolton can bring in his colleagues from the Bush years.
The loyalists hired back.
And the Obummer traitors fired immediately along with McMaster.
imho.
Trump listened to entirely the wrong people in his initial WH hiring: the GOPe, liberal Manhattan Democrats Jivanka, Condi Rice and other Bushies, congressional leadership, etc.
It’s been a long, long year, but at least he’s righting the ship. Let’s hope it’s not too late.
Not a chance. McMaster brought in his pro-jihad lackeys.
Bolton is going to have to undo everything that McMaster did.
“So is McMaster out yet? Bolton in yet? (When does this start or is it already in place?)”
I believe April 9th is the changeover date. Hope McNasty doesn’t do too much damage in that period of time.
That goes to the Truman and Roosevelt administration “listening” to the senior-level (communist) State Dept officials who gave China to Mao’s dictatorship. Vietnam as well?
Trump likes to hire specialists. When he first got to DC I think he wanted to get some insiders to help him learn the way. Now that he has the experience and knowledge, he wants to hire his own people who will be loyal to him and his policies.
That is largely an after-the-fact rationale.
He would have been far better off with his own, loyal team from the start. He listened to the wrong people.
IIRC, there was a story out of the State Dept after the 2004 election. The person in control of a meeting said President Bush has won a second term and we owe him our allegiance. That person left the meeting and the second in charge said And John Kerry came in second and WE owe HIM our allegiance. The Leftists ALWAYS work to undermine Republicans in the highest levels of Government.

Where shall we begin?
Well, with a moron of course.
Say, this one. The puppet, not the puppeteer:

If so, no way he should've been hired!!!!
In intelligence, this is natural. They want to control everything, observe everything, and manipulate everyone. Not the conservative type at all.
McMaster, a favorite of the Council on Foreign Relations and John McCain, got most of his promotions under GW Bush. Obama wasn’t really a fan of McMaster, booting him from Central Command.
“Yes, Minister” could have an American re-boot. It could be called “No, Mr. President.”
