The dirty little secret about indentured servants was they were often treated worse than slaves, since their value to the holder of their indenture dropped to zero when their time was up. Slave holders at least had an economic interest in keeping their slaves healthy and fit for work.

Every black politician, celebrity, millionaire, and professional athlete who embraces slavery-oriented victimination, needs to take a deep breath and ponder what would their lives be like if slavery in the American colonies had never existed.
