'I Can't Believe He Signed That Omnibus Bill!'

Come on, you conservatives and Trumpists. Stop behaving like special snowflakes! Because when you complain, "I can't believe that President Trump signed that horrible omnibus bill!," you are descending into what I call the Women's Culture of Complaint.

Yes, you are going along with what German sociologist Georg Simmel predicted would be a public square with a pronounced "feminine sensibility." The whole point of Donald Trump is that he is a man's man. That's why so many women dislike him; that's why we voted for him.

Okay, so President Trump got out-Schumered on this one. And the wall ain't gonna be started this year. And Chuck's going to get his tunnel. But do we whine about a microaggression from those mean-girl jelly-beanies on Capitol Hill, or do we suck it in and soldier on?

Hey, fellas: this was just a battle, a minor battle in the great war we are fighting against the left, the tyrannous experts, the venal politicians, and the foolish women who believe what they are taught in school. Wanna give up already? Or do we retreat a ways, figure out lessons learned, and regroup for the next battle? OODA and all that?

Let's get clarity on who we are, what we want, and why we won't give up. We are the people who are not wedded to the big state. That means we are not the educated, who vote big government because it means jobs for educated people: doing research the government wants, working up new programs the government wants, attacking the government's opponents. That means we are not single women, who expect the government to fill in for the absent husband. And it means we are not the poor, who, since time immemorial,

I’m not giving up, but now I hope that people can see that Trump isn’t necessarily going to be too helpful.

He had no better options. He needed the increased military budget before his meeting on North Korea, and to be able to *possibly* use the military to secure the border. Vetoing it and going into another “shutdown” drama would have resulted in a bill that was just as bad down the road. The solution is to elect more REAL conservatives (not the GOPE kind), AND to GET RID OF THE 60-VOTE RULE AND FILIBUSTER.

The Dems will do it first chance they get anyway, and when they are in power, so many GOPEs go along with them that its basically like they already have it (since like the good little Marxists they are, they have no trouble enforcing “party discipline” at voting time in the Congress..)

Oh yea of so little faith. The battle is not over at all watch and see him spend the money on a wall, watch him spend the Health Dept’s money that the stupid dems think is going to Planned Parenthood wanna bet where it goes. Our President is no politician and neither is his insiders I bet money Munchin got a copy of the bill and stopped at the preamble to the bill is does not say it is a budget bill hence it becomes a Authorization Bill. In English heres the money and such and such deptartment should spend it but not exactly on what just so its spent in that dept.......

I would feel a lot better if we could see McConnell and Ryan tarred and feathered and ridden out of town on a rail.

I don’t believe he got “out-schmuckered.”

An omnibus bill is not an official budget, it is just a big slush fund.

The allocations specified in the omnibus bill do not hold the force of law.

They are merely suggestions.

Obama did whatever he wanted with the omnibus slush fund.

Turnabout is fair play.

I’m thinking the military is in a lot tougher shape than is leading on. They really are low on parts and supplies because Iraq and Afghanistan has sucked them dry, along with the heavy hours on every Air Force and Navy air frame. If we get stuck with another war they definitely need the money to gear up.

I do not agree. I do think Hillary or maybe Jeb would have been really helpful to you.

Not only are supplies nonexistent. Training has stopped. Incompetence is the order of the day. The feminization of the military was completed under O. Coming back from the dead will take every penny he got for them and every minute of every day making men of these little crybaby children.

He also has more than 1,000 items completed comprising 90% of his campaign promises! That is very helpful!

I see American Thinker has deteriorated. This could be shortened to just four words: “Youse guys are p-——s!” Take out all the superfluous verbiage and leave all the reasoning in.

“But do we whine about a microaggression from those mean-girl jelly-beanies on Capitol Hill, or do we suck it in and soldier on?”

Good Lord, this is garbage-tier condescending writing. Good thing $500,000,000 to Planned Parenthood is only a microagression.

Obama did whatever he wanted with the omnibus slush fund.

I do remember that he had some really spiffy signs made to puff out his tiny ego on shovel ready jobs that never went anywhere.

now I hope that people can see that Trump isn’t necessarily going to be too helpful.

This is the only President in my lifetime since the great Ronald Reagan who has actually been IMMENSELY HELPFUL when it comes to what's important to me. Which is: saving my country.
