Trump still has a chance to be the greatest president in a century, but it will take a radical move that he (and perhaps only he) is capable of making.

Here is the short version of the speech.

"My fellow Americans, it was over one hundred years ago that Teddy Roosevelt took on the industrialists who monopolized American business and 'busted the trusts'.

Well, today we are faced with even more evil large corporations who do not monopolize railroads or steel or oil. They trade in information, your private information, without justly compensating you for its use. Their insanely high stock price represents the difference between what your information is worth and what you received for it. They claim you have given your permission by visiting their websites and using their services. They claim they are really protecting your privacy. They are liars, among the most evil liars the human race has ever produced.

I say that a contract with pages of legalese between a mega-corporation and a single individual is absurd on its face. The American people and people around the world did not knowingly give their consent to be spied upon every waking moment.

I am announcing today that the Justice Department will initiate anti-trust actions against the following companies...Facebook, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple.....

We will break them into a million pieces, and we will unwind those corrupt contracts until they are dust blowing in the wind.

Every human being on the planet has a right to our privacy, and we will get it back from the corporate thieves who stole it."

You obviously have done little research

1 look into the background of General Kelly ( Beau Bo can help you here)

2 read the executive order of December 21 (PResident Trump declared a national emergency)

3’read the material given to Treasury Secretary Manuchin in early February. ( Nikk will help you find it if you’re skills are not up to task )

4 read the letters President Trump sent Senator McConnell and Paul Ryan less than twenty minutes after he signed the bill

5do a quick search of the Corp of Engineers. They have been working at the border forever but on the wall since last July

66read the entire 2,000 plus omnibus bill (it is not a budget)
Or take my word for it. The only money the legislative branches designated that must be paid as written it the two year provision for the military. All other money is discretionary and is spent at THE PRESIDENT’S discretion
Or
Take my word for it. No money is going to be spent on PP, OC or other liberal pet projects. BUT, because a national emergency naming human and drug trafficking was called it will be spent on the border and on the wall !
Construction on wall began yesterday
7find the numerous pictures posted by CBP on internet yesterday

I do remember that he had some really spiffy signs made to puff out his tiny ego on shovel ready jobs that never went anywhere.

My favorite Obamadork spiffy sign:

I am at bases from time to time working in sensitive areas and it could be any service.

What I wonder about is the need for the bases to keep things nice and comfortable.

If they have an army “if you will” that is used to Burger King and the like readily available, can they drop that on a dime and go MRE and ready to kill. These new bases are cities with all the trappings of civilian life. I wonder how fast these servicemen can turn when ordered.

I was at the chow hall twice a day. BTW

"I would feel a lot better if we could see McConnell and Ryan tarred and feathered and ridden out of town on a rail."

Now there's a great idea!
Do you suppose we could fit that goofball Lindsay Graham on the same rail, or should we get one more rail and put him and John McLame together on it?

People defended George W. Bush’s big government during the War on Terrorism, then they complained about it at the end of his Administration. Be careful with giving Trump a pass.

This. And somehow Bolton, who manages to escape facing ANY consequences for lying about WMDS in Iraq, deserves his current promotion. 🤔

I think that our glorious president has checkmated both the Congress and the Judiciary, and like Andy Jackson, will now do what he pleases with his co-equal executive powers. IMHO. Remember, I’m the guy last Friday who said to never, ever, underestimate Trump.

Along with the internal rot in the military where the left wing social experiments have taken a very high toll: women Rangers, women in the infantry, blatant anti Christian hatred from the senior ranks, cross dressers still in the ranks, a communist lieutenant at Ft Drum who graduated from West Point a known communist, the mentality that allowed Nidal Hassan to get to the point of slaughtering soldiers, on and on and on. And not a finger has been lifted by Mattis to clean it up other than his foot dragging on cross dressers. I spent many years in the Army, this is not the Army I served in.

1. Trump should not have signed it. He should have burned it and then stepped on the ashes.

2. The fact that he did sign it does not mean that he joined The Swamp or that the MAGA agenda is dead. The backlash that he is getting will be a clear message to him that he needs to do better.

Given the ability to only speak for ONE.

This ONE will never, ever, desert the man. He has my 100 percent support. When he can make good on promises made, he does. When he is unable to do so, blame does not fall on him, it shouldn’t. We need capable conservatives in congress replacing those rinos Until we realize that, we will not see our POTUS-VSG winning EVERY time. For one who has never held a government office prior, a man that has the whole of two parties ready to pounce and maul him he has attempted to adjust and learn by ‘on the job experience’
Of course there are disappointments. At times LIFE is a disappointment but it’s the only life that’s given. So the choice is yours. If you choose to stay with Trump rather than kick him aside, you, too, might find reason to rejoice one day. Tomorrow? 7 years from now? That is not in our hands.

Carry on Mr. President!

We supported Bush for 8 years and ended up with Jack to show for it. I support Trump, but this is BS. If you don’t support the president’s every move you are a p**sy? Really? That is what we are reduced to?

Trump chose to appoint Mattis, Tillerson and McMaster.

Why?

The TRUTH is the Presidency is not a dictatorship, when it comes to budgets. And the GOP/President do NOT have a functional majority in the Senate. Further the 60 vote Senate rule now in place, further deprives a president of getting it entirely his way.

So he prioritized. He said so clearly in his speech. He properly placed military readiness first, above other issues.

I do not like all of the outcome, but I do understand it and accept it.

“Nevertrumps” are taking this, like everything else, as proof to be against him.

www.gopbriefingroom.com

Each day starts in search of maximum “gotchas” against Trump.

#1 - Napoleon Bonaparte only lost one battle ever.

#2 - The Omnibus gives money to our political opponents. Your government is essentially funding the next election - and they’re stacking the deck against you.

#3 - Albert Einstein (the man who invented the atomic bomb) called interest the most powerful force in the universe. While you’re protecting us from Chinese nukes, I’m wondering what’s protecting us from our Chinese creditors.

#4 - The last thing you do in any war is demoralize your soldiers. Our own side just demoralized us and now they’re calling us names and mocking us. Why should we support you when it’s clear you have no interest in even fighting for us?

A CEO who goes a little outside his area of expertise asks around for advice on who to consult as experts.

The Council on Foreign Relations/Goldman-Sachs crowd have a near-monopoly on a lot of government policy jobs and their candidates, so those were the recommendations Trump got.

Candidate Trump did not have Pat Buchanan or Ron Paul on speed dial, and this was indeed noticed by quite a few, but there wasn’t much alternative.
