I had my teeth cleaned the first time after I had been married for several years, and I hated id because that stuff they used to polish my teeth tasted horrible.
When I grew up you never heard of teeth cleaning.

You must have been lucky.I was always sent to the dentist as a kid for cleanings.Perhaps as a result I’ve had good luck with my teeth...I’m pushing 70 and have all my teeth, only three of which have ever been filled.

When I grew up you never heard of teeth cleaning. Perhaps not, but I hope that now you're an adult, and do see the benefits of good oral hygiene. That would include regular visits to the dentist, including professional cleanings.
