NJ has been segregated since the first non-whites arrived. It is further exacerbated when the non-whites become the majority of school students while a minority of homeowners; NJ whites are tired of paying the highest property taxes in the country to school someone else’s children. The white flight patterns seen across cities in the past are now happening throughout our whole state.
NJ is a good model (and now STL among many others) to go on and see how this will play out in the years to come.
