Actually, the Jews in the UK, Canada and Australia have not been voting for the Left recently. They have been voting for the Tories in the UK and Canada, or the Liberals in Australia (The Liberal Party is on the right side of the political spectrum in Australia). If these parties are really conservative is, of course, another question.
The voting behavior of the American Jews seems to be an anomaly. Some people say that it is an openly-Christian character of the Republican Party (or its connection to the Religious Right) that repels many Jewish voters.
I heard a quot some years back that said when some Jews hear “Christian America, they see barbed wire”.
So you're saying that Jews hate Christianity more than they love their own survival?
