It is plausible. It is called dissociation.

A case of dissociative craziness is the case of David Hogg who is exploited and sacrificed as a militant whore for his parents’ own agenda at the expense of his own well being, regardless he is harmed by droping out of school without a future or being attractive to a woman.

The victim does not believe he or she is a victim and another false-adult protective personality takes over, sometimes lashing out at innocent people who happen to not be attracted by the kid or other third party existential threats. Similarly Obama was sexualy abused by Frank Marshall Davis but young Obama integrated it as himself being a little man dominating Frank eventually to become a sort of trainee in conquering people via entitled brutality.

Minor correction: As AG Sessions noted this week, USA Huber leads a "team of prosecutors" that are involved. And this does not count other district USAs conducting other specific investigations in Little Rock (USA Hiland) and in DC (USA Liu).

As for Pedogate, take a look at the official Twitter page of District of Columbia United States Attorney Jessie Liu; almost every tweet pertains to child trafficking and abuse. This is why Trump calls some of his opponents "evil" and is a driving passion for Trump, Sessions and Liu. Google images for "Podesta, Art" and try to hold your coffee down.
