Millenials on down, who don’t subscribe to cable, are subject to this ilk. They are very secular and need JESUS. Pray for Christian shows to fill the void with shows that appeal to them.

there’s plenty of room for adult reaction to religious instruction; I’m sure your take on it is starkly at odds with my own...what there is no room for, however, is ridicule, as it betrays a childish petulance at its core, as this person so aptly shows...
A more relevant question is how do grown adults watch or listen to Colbert.
You can include a lot of very deep thinkers and highly educated know it alls in that lot of not understanding.
Isn’t Colbert allegedly a believing Christian?
I don’t watch the pseudo-sophisticated crap that’s on late night TV.
Colbert is a vile little man.
He too will worship Jesus in the end. But He will worship in horror and bitter regret not in love and bliss if he does not turn it around. He is to be pitied.
But no conservative will bother to ask Colbert if Muslims, Jews, Hindus, and other religous believers why or how they could worship their religion.
We get the usual muh outrage though and vote for principled true conservative BS, thanks for nothing.

Actually, I have seen Colbert claim--on air-- that he was a Sunday School teacher when he was interviewing someone.
That rocks me to my core. How does someone who claims to be a Christian sanction such blasphemy as part of "their" show?
Dante, for one, discerned the proper place in Hell for those like Colbert.
Since this is a free country and if someone wants to trash those who don’t share the speaker’s viewpoint. That person should not be surprised if they get trashed.
