No devout Catholic is hateful. Devout Catholicism indicates a close personal relationship with Jesus. Period.
There is no room for hatred and blasphemy there.
This was the most hateful and blasphemous wrriting I have ever read (skimmed through). I avoid such writing. I thought Colbert would be relatively safe. It was evil.

Actually, Colbert LOVES claiming to be a Catholic, using it to insulate himself from charges he’s anti-Catholic. Like the self-hating Jew who can’t be anti-semitic.

Considering that I can go days at a time without thinking about Colbert or his religious affiliation, your comments were eye-opening.

Sometimes I wonder if Christians should Muslim-up.

Of course, Christ might frown on such an undertaking.
But it sure would FEEL GOOD.
I’m allowing my cable to lapse in May.
Three reasons:
1) They charge 250 a month for a three-part ‘deal’: Cable TV, Internet )that went out a lot when I started a new 100% remote job), and a Alarm/Security system in my apartment. They are, by far, my most expensive utility — and they charge a ton to break the contract. It’s over in May.
2) They (Comcast) support the liberal agenda heavily, as well as running many shows that purposefully poke Conservatives in the eye. I do not want to fund the left any more.
3) Their internet sucks. Like I said before, I started a Work At Home job that required 100% internet coverage. I started the job, and they went out all of a sudden for 1, 2, and 3 day periods. Unacceptable. I did a little research among my fellow-professional peers and was told that AT&T was 99% reliable and far faster (although Comcast advertised they were fast, AT&T’s lower throughput numbers were better, because I was not sharing a work-throughput with 100 other people downloading boobie pictures.
Yet, he remains on the boob tube.
I had no reason to pay any attention to him before,& now I have less than none.
