Fox News is standing by Laura Ingraham, the host of the network's 10:00 p.m. hour, after she made some controversial comments about Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg, who has become a familiar face in the gun control movement. Despite the drama, the network "looks forward" to having her back.
"We cannot and will not allow voices to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts," Jack Abernethy, co-president of Fox News, told the Los Angeles Times on Monday. "We look forward to having Laura Ingraham back hosting her program next Monday when she returns from spring vacation with her children."
Ingraham mocked Hogg on Twitter last week after learning he had been denied admission to a few colleges,
"David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA...totally predictable given acceptance rates.)," she wrote.
She offered an apology for her comments, but Hogg did not accept it. Nor, it seems, did several advertisers, who dropped her show. As the backlash was heating up, Ingraham lost Johnson & Johnson, Liberty Mutual, Office Depot, Expedia, Nestle and Hulu.
It appears Hogg had something to do with it.
Ingraham took this week off, letting several guests hosts fill in for her. While critics demanded Fox News fire her, it seems her job is safe.

Really? Then why did you force her to apologize for stating the truth- thus giving hogg incredible power by falsely legitimizing his fascist agenda in the process?
I sent this and similar posts to the companies that dropped Laura.
“We use J&J products extensively but are dismayed that we will have to use other products due to your asinine decision to drop Laura Ingraham over the Hoggwash issue. Grow up.”

I wish Fox would publish a list of companies that have boycotted Ingraham and companies that did not. I would most happily boycott those that oppose Ingraham and give my business to those that did not.
Case in point is Progressive Insurance. I could lower my car premiums about 50 bucks if I switched to Progressive. I will not do this.
I really did get quotes before this crap with Laura Ingraham started. I may switch my insurance but it sure as hell will not be to progressive.

The time off for vacation with her kids was pre-planned before the crap with the “camera” Hogg kid.
Hogg and liberal media keep trying hard to say they caused her to take time off of work. Just more fake news from the left.
She has a top rated prime time program on FNC. No way they ever considered dropping her.
Maybe his radio studio is at home, like Rush’s is.
I would have bet that the Murdoch boys would have pitched her.
Yep - kind of surprised me but I’d wager they did some “studies” and decided that it would damage them to drop Laura.
Dr. Jacobs calls 'em "hubrids" and their adopted families/handlers usually are Feds of one sort or the other.
He made it REALLY EASY for Fox by not accepting her apology. Hopefully this opens the floodgates to more people no longer willing to put up with his crap.

This is the right thing to do. Would have been better coming out a couple of days ago though.
Hogg has become the poster boy for these companies. Competitors should blast the airwaves with photos of him and his illiterate tweets on advertisements directed against those competitors.
