The NRA is warning us against bills for red flag laws in at least some states and issuing information on how to try to stop those bills from passing. The NRA is also taking an active role itself in doing so.

Exactly. Our side jumped on the “mental health” aspect to protect our guns and gave them the opening they needed to incrementally take our guns, one imagined threat at a time.
