The various Ku Klux Klan, militia, and white supremacist groups have been heavily infiltrated by the FBI/ATF and leftist groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center since the 1960s. They consist largely of agents provocateur and dupes manipulated by the former into committing race motivated crimes. The “alt-Right” protest in Charlottesville, Virginia, was led by a man with a long Leftist pedigree. However, the supply of dupes has dwindled as general awareness of the Deep State/leftist activist control of these groups has increased. Since the 1980s, the full wrath of Federal power has fallen upon white separatist, anti-Federal, or Christian fringe groups, such as the Branch Davidians, the Bundys, or the Weavers, even as Black Lives Matter and Antifa engage in open thuggery with minimal official punishment.
Lacking adequate useful non-leftist idiots, many acts of vandalism or cross burning are now committed by leftists trying to show that racism, homophobia, and anti-Semitism are still occurring.
