Mueller is lying; he doesn’t care what the President knows. He only wants to set a perjury trap. Don’t do it DJT.
We all know he is preparing a report on obstruction. The question is what the report contains.
There’s no reason for the President to be interviewed.
If Mueller has evidence of a crime, he can recommend impeachment.
Absent that he should STFU and wrap up this pointless partisan witch hunt.
I would like for the President to give Mueller 60 days to complete and report on his investigation. After 60 days the US government will cease funding the Special Counsel and any expenses thereafter will not be paid. In this manner the President should not receive the bad press he would if Mueller is outright fired.

Mueller’s current overreach is the temporary firewall.
1. Mueller said POTUS is not under criminal investigation.
TRUE. Mueller cannot charge POTUS with crimes.
2. Mueller said POTUS is a target.
TRUE. Mueller can issue reports to Congress implying he be Impeached.
3. Mueller will issue reports.
TRUE. But beyond his mandate. This is law fare and criminalization of politics. “Reports” will be issued to coincide with elections and events to maximize political damage to the GOP.
Mueller knows that the president can not obstruct justice by firing a federal employee. The president can fire anyone working for the federal government at any time. Ask the air traffic controllers.
How do details of a “private conversation” end up in the Chicago Tribune?
So the investigation is now concentrated on whether President Trump did anything to “thwart” the investigation. That is broad; any tiny words could be included. I’d sure try to “thwart” a contrived investigation into myself in some manner or form.
