Shouldn’t we hear about these supposed bellwether elections sometime before the race is called for the Democrat? I’m not a Wisconsin voter, but this is the first I’ve heard of this.
The judges aren’t partisan I assume, so maybe Daley is simply the incumbent and they voted to reelect the incumbent (I don’t know.)

If that's the only motivator that works then the Conservatives had better whip up some hate for something otherwise November will not be pretty.
