Valid point. Turkey has found the way to reconciliation with Russia after being at war since 1200 ad. Why can’t China being at Cold War with Russia for only 60 years.

PC has had a close association with the Chinese with respect to the Clintons (think Bernie Schwartz' Loral (fined $20m for sharing secrets with the Chinese), Hughes Electronics, neutron bomb secrets, the Cox Report, Gore, Buddhist Monks, etc.) and Obama. Bob Bauer of Perkins Coie was the Chief WH Counsel under Obama and Barry later appointed Bauer to lead a CIA panel, so the CIA-China connection is direct and clear there. China's special interest in North Korea would tempt one to think the CIA, including via Bauer and PC, would be opportunistically positioned to keep the Chinese thinking positively about the US. But as with so many things under Obama, perhaps that was botched, too.
