Mueller has two aces in the hole: Sessions and Rosenstein. Mueller’s anti-Trump report due ~July doesn’t mark the end of the witch hunt by any means. It’s just an opportunity to hurt Trump while allowing the never-ending fishing expedition to continue to cripple Trump’s first two years. If Sessions, Rosenstein and Mueller can flip the House in November, they win.
Yep but they are not really aces in the hole. This is beyond politics and the US Military is the ultimate arbiter here. Gitmo is being prepared to receive large numbers of US political figures for trial by military tribunal. It really does not matter what these political kabuki theater players try to do. We need a civil war anyway because things are just not fixable.
