Hopefully they’re locked in separate basement rooms without any phone access, organizing and filing away old case files.

I saw Sara Carter on Fox & Friends a few days ago, and she was asked why they hadn’t been fired yet, and she strongly indicated, without being able to say so, that Peter Strzok and Lisa Page were providing information to investigators.

Was a joke. The two were texting about how they detest the public, and they smell like Walmart shoppers. Hard to get rid of the smell..............

Really exhibiting the disease of government run amok.

Hopefully they’re locked in separate basement rooms at a Walmart in Virginia without any phone access, organizing and filing away old case files.

There. Fixed it.

I heard an interview on a radio program not too long ago of a guy who claimed to have some inside information about what was happening. He said that there are five FBI employees they call The Fab Five, who have pleaded guilty and are cooperating to minimize their punishment or to stay to of jail. I don't remember all of the names but Strzok and Page were in the group of five.

These two already know they are in trouble. The investigators have interviewed them and confronted them with the evidence of their crimes.

I think they have flipped and are cooperating with the IG to save their own necks. That's why there has not been a single word out of their mouths in the press.

But to "flip" them would require something of value from them for the investigators. Maybe additional information the investigators don't have yet? Or names of more wrong-doers?

And so they are left at their jobs so their can continue to look like nothing is wrong. Other agents and employees at the FBI have to know that Strzok and Page are toxic to communicate with now.

That's why these investigations have to be conducted quietly, out of the public purview and with leaks to the media almost non-existent. The investigators don't want potential targets of their investigation to get details of what's going on so they can lawyer-up and make it more difficult to prosecute their cases.

It may also be why the IG investigation has dragged on longer than some anticipated. If they've turned some people, then they have more new leads to follow. And it takes more time to investigate those leads.

“Why would anyone want to fire them or revoke their security clearances?”

Fire them? No, because it puts them outside the reach of the DOJ IG, but revoking their security clearances is another matter. Strozok is now in the FBI HR department where he probably doesn’t need a security clearance. Don’t know about Paige, she’s a lawyer.

I always get free shipping. Somethings you can’t get shipped to the store, but they ship it free to your house.

“...extramarital affair with that mutt? DON’T BUY IT....”

I agree with you - I think the “adulterous affair” narrative is a lie for a purpose.

The “Lovebird” cap was bullshit to allow the FBI to redact parts of their e-mails as being “Personal”.

Have you considered the entire ‘love affair’ was a cover story when the news broke that their texting had been discovered?

Let’s call them what they are: adulterers.

Maybe they just haven't been released, but I have yet to see a text that makes me think these were anything other than co-conspirators. Nothing remotely resembling texts between lovebirds has seen the light of day.

Get it shipped to the store and it’s free. Anything you can’t get shipped to the store is free shipping.

I never pay shipping.

You are right. Maybe to infer that they are like Boris and Natasha, softens how cold and callus they are.
