The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) demanded Wednesday that the FBI and DOJ comply with the committee’s subpoena to review documents pertaining to the bureau’s Russia investigation. In particular, the committee wants the un-redacted version of the original investigative document, also known as “Electronic Communication” that launched the FBI counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign, according to a letter issued by the Chairman.
Chairman Devin Nunes, R-CA, sent the letter to Department of Justice Assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray warning them that their lack of compliance with the committee’s original Aug. 24, 2017 subpoena to turn over all requested documents could result in “the Committee pursuing all appropriate legal remedies, including seeking civil enforcement” in a federal district court. The committee gave the FBI and DOJ until April 11 to turn over all the documentation requested.

After one year of listening to Brennan, Clapper and Comey run their mouths, I now no longer doubt that the deep-state exists, it is not beholden to the Republic, and it feels it is entitled to have political power in its own right.
Apparently we don’t have an AG that will make them comply.

Haven’t heard from Nunes in a while, I was wondering if he is still on the job. He is one of maybe 2 or 3 congress critters that seem interested in actually getting to the bottom of just what is and was going on. The rest are all hoping that meuller is successful in taking down Trump.
They’re all in collusion with Obama to frame DJT. Trump should release the hounds on Barry’s punk ass.

How about Federal Marshals busting in on them, warrant in hand, and taking their computers...?
US Marshal Service is part of the DOJ. Congress does not have any direct control.
US Capitol Police might have such ability.

Congress does the public release of information, for public relations/political effect. Sessions manages the actual investigations and prosecutions.
Where is Session?
He is the boss of DOJ and FBI.
