It would be really cool if the Republicans could somehow control the House, Senate and White House. Then they could get rid of husseincare and do it right like they have campaigned on for years.
Oh wait, they already control everything and have done nothing.
NO, they don’t—not as long as Democrats in the senate can say no. We need to get rid of the super majority rule.
Senate rules are used to stop Republican policies. The rule requiring a 60 vote majority needs to be changed immediately.
A majority should be enough otherwise the minority can act like a majority and thwart the intents of the voters.
If they don’t change the rule no federal appointees for the courts will be approved.
The thinking seems to be that if Obamacare is ended it MUST be replaced with a “better” government plan. The only real answer is to simply get the federal government completely out of health care and a lot of other things which it has no business being involved in. Unfortunately the right thing is always the last thing to be considered.
