When the FR system was created they had that message printed on the FR notes... Just because a part of the Constitution is ignored doesn't make it untrue. Don't worry though their is very little chance that the current system will be replaced in our lifetime. It is actually a wealth transfer system that benefits Government and powerful people.

Look the relevant clause is in article I section 8 where the feds are empowered to make a national currency. The first coins they made were actually not gold or silver but copper. I am just trying to follow and evaluate your reasoning here, not debate you about conclusions.
