I thought of various incidents, missed the peace sign but believe Malia participated in a protest on the Dakota pipeline, did a few racy things partying, not my politics but I cut them some slack. I don't want to go into a rant about the rest of what the parents did (or maybe didn't do).
The only problem with that line of thinking is:
We really don't yet know what the end result of the kids will be. I fear both might be militant abortion supporters and buy into all the crazy (to me) gender and racial politics, but we don't know yet and could be pleasantly surprised. Kids usually adopt the worldview of the parents in young adulthood and probably a very high percentage throughout their lives. They may plunge into full-blown Communism. The parents have a history with it, they aren't through either, but he couldn't do what the Bolsheviks did. And their constant mascot. It's scary. But the girls turned out pretty well all in all. I think the Bush twins didn't behave so well at times. And I don't think that means GEB and Laura were bad parents.
Time will tell. Oh, on C2C tomorrow night the first guest whose name escapes me will be about Satan's Throne. It sounds completely crazy if we don't know the background FACTS behind it. So maybe it will educate a few more people because they have a huge audience. Although I'm not looking for the similarity of the DNC set in Denver (was it or was it what a lot of us wanted to see?) to the actual "throne" in Berlin to be brought out. It could happen.
At least some relief from all the UFO talk The other day, about 3 days ago now I first saw it, C2C had a link to the Canadian mint where a pretty ovoid, enamelled on both sides, $20 silver coin was going up for sale and taking I think pre-orders or referrals to dealers. So it's a striking coin and will surely be a collector's item and possibly good investment. But I wasn't sure I wanted something like that in my house (am a little superstitious).
So last night I wanted to show my daughter in case she thought it might be something neat to buy my grandson (had serious misgivings about the subject and also showing it off to kids one of which might be likely to steal it). It's why I am still holding his koala gold coin I bought all the grandkids from the Perth mint and his Batman stamps (which he would likely stick all over everything).
So I go back to the mint site. Not to worry. It was sold out.

I was specifically referring to an anti-military symbol she wore as her father used that military freely. Her other politics didn’t clash so openly with his role - after all, he said troops were “fighting for him”.
I still don’t get how she was qualified. As FLOTUS, her one effort, i,e., socialized medicine flopped. As SOS, she had Americans murdered in Benghazi.
