I'm no fan of Manafort. If he committed tax fraud, send him to jail.

However, the FBIs conduct does seem somewhat sleazy. Got someone with a key to let them in the storage locker. FBI after the fact gets a search warrant to seize the documents.

There are so many laws now that the average person arguably commits three federal felonies a day.

Mueller's charge was to look for things related to the campaign. Instead he went on a fishing expedition.

If they can find something on Manafort, they can find something on you, too, if they decide to go after you.

If you're OK with abandoning the rule of law to go after Manafort, I OK with abandoning it to go after you.

I’m not sure it is illegal, but I’m not a lawyer. FBI asked someone with a key to let them in, and they complied.

If the police knock on your door and ask to come in, and you let them in, they haven’t done anything illegal with their entry.

Now the man could have felt pressured by the FBI and thus it wasn’t totally voluntary. We don’t have that info.

Doesn’t matter to Dems. They do as they please. Sessions won’t stop them.

Without a warrant before the search, it is an illegal search.

Would it make a difference if the person who let them in was not an authorized representative of the owner? What if they wanted to enter a house and a neighbor let them in?

all time record for a dump on sessions in a topic that has virtually nothing to do with him.

Looked more like an “observation” or a “prediction” rather than a “dump” to me.

Not too much wiggle room here. Illegal search and everything the FBI got afterwards from it. The FBI is a pile of hot mess.

FBI after the fact gets a search warrant to seize the documents.

Which is worse, that or Mueller initiating this search and arrest then Rosenstein authorizes Mueller to take his investigation into that territory a week later?

Just because FBI agents obtained a key, that did not give them the authority to enter. This move was illegal and the fruit of the illegal entry should not be allowed as evidence.

Sounds like a play right out of the book of corruption followed by Mueller’s stormtrooper-sleezebag Andrew Weissmann.

Sessions is nominally in charge of the FBI.

Sessions is much more of a Statist than being more interested preserving in Personal Liberty.

Sessions could have investigated and reported to the American Public, were he actually interested.

It's just unbelievable that they search every nook and cranny of Manafort, but Hillary, Huma, BO and the rest of them committing crimes out in the open get zero attention.
