A gay couple and a bystander who tried to help them were assaulted Sunday after the Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade, police said.
Rene Chalarca and Dimitri Lugonov told police they were were attacked by three men after they shared a hug while waiting to use a restroom...

Agreed. First and foremost, unless the gay couple physically attacked someone, there is no reason to assault them, period. It doesn’t matter that they are gay, or that they were hugging in public. None of that makes it OK to physically assault them.
Second, the article suggests that the assailants were Latinos who attacked the couple because they were gay. Maybe that’s true and maybe it isn’t, but it raises a problem that the PC news media never wants to talk about it — anti-gay bigotry by minority groups. Let’s see how the media plays this. If it turns out to be illegal immigrants, I bet the story gets dropped like a hot potato.

And actually if you see the video it appears to be more of a slap fight than an attack. These guys went on TV with apparent injuries, but there was no proof these came from that incident.
Media leaps to conclusions and NEVER EVER questions any person in an assigned victim group.

I would imagine that the men in your group hug at appropriate times and are probably not in front of or in bathrooms. The fact that the author framed the story “in front of a bathroom” which offended others probably did not demonstrate the ‘agape’ love that you are talking about and more of the eros that might have been on display.
The men in my group don’t care where they are when they do it.
I have a feeling they were more than just hugging, but kissing each other as many of these homosexuals do in public , at a bathroom to let others know that those bathrooms are where homo’s go to make out inside.
