In Hevron on the near perpendicular road up the hill to Tel Romeda, there is a wooden fence erected to keep people from falling over the side, and scrawled on the fence is dueling lines of graffiti. “Free Palestine” on one line, and right above that, “Kahane was right” and so on and so forth in three or four languages. I doubt a soul was ever arrested for any of it ever.
This particular article is the most inept bit of Taqiya I can imagine, and I haven’t even heard the whole video yet. But if there have been 800,000 arrests of Palis since 1967, that is not 40% of the male population by any stretch. That’s a percentage of the male populations of two generations combined, and even if it had been only of the present generation, it would not have been 40%, because some people are arrested multiple times, because they are either too stupid to stay out of trouble, or hell-bent to get into it, and since you are counting arrests, that would account for an unknown percentage of the arrestees. Finally, what’s the source for the number 800,000? Made up?
