One of the very few in Congress that can be trusted.

Rand should sponsor a resolution to return the president’s property, papers, effects.

It is completely without footing that an agency of the Executive branch breaks into the POTUS lawyer’s office and siezes lawyer-client material.

Never has anything like this happened.
Never should have happened.
Cannot happen.
DC is not We The Peoples government anymore.

Dark state must be ended.

I think Dershowitz has done a great service to the republic by opposing this Mueller nonsense.

There should be resistance and a coup — AGAINST MUELLER! I am so sick and tired of this idiocy. nThe stupid Russia affair has morphed into the stupid pornstar affair. We are witnessing anti Trump resistance by practitioners of that old theatre of the absurd.

The thing is, Trump shouldn’t have to be the one to call for Mueller’s investigation to end or for Mueller to be fired, and neither should anyone in his administration - that should be congress.

After all, it was congress that originally insisted on the special council - they should be the ones to admit it is nothing but a witch hunt and call for it to be ended.

The whole premise of a special council was the independence it would have from the executive branch so that Trump and his cabinet would be “hands off”. Hands off means Trump and his cabinet can’t be the ones to end it. Period.

It’s exactly like a CEO and the Board of Directors in the private corporation. The Board (congress) requires an independant review by outside auditors (special council) of management (the executive branch). The CEO (Trump) or CFO (AG) requests bid proposals, selects the CPA firm (Mueller)
gives them a place to set up camp, and pays them. But although the CEO (Trump) technically hired them it’s the Board (congress) they need to satisfy and are really reporting to, or it wouldn’t be independent. A CEO would never fire the public auditors or terminate a review - that’s the board of directors via the finance committee.

This is exactly the position Trump is in - congress insisted on the independent review and it’s up to them to close it.

It is totally unreasonable to expect Trump or anyone in his administration to terminate Mueller and his investigation. There are those in congress who would have loved to see Trump fire Mueller or instruct his AG to do so, but Trump is not that stupid.

Hopefully, others in congress will join Rand Paul in insisting the witch hunt that THEY insisted on be brought to an end. Otherwise, Trump will just have to let it continue.

There are quite a few “don’t vote” posts on this thread. Witting or unwitting, they are foisting hard core leftists on the country. Buckle up, it is going to get worse if that attitude prevails.

Ditto. I want to add that I am of the belief if anyone pulls their support for our President they never really gave it to begin with (agent of the demGOPe).

Anyone who is a true American citizen should be so upset by this invasion of privacy (attorney/client). This seems to be based on a porn movie piece of trash. What a credible witness this highly paid prostitute is? UNBELIEVABLE. These Clinton pimps in DC are the lowest scum on this continent. They all need their butts kicked by real men. Mueller is jealous of Cohen and lawyers like him as Mueller has never had a billionaire client. He has lived off of us, the taxpayer.

Agreed. You don't even need to like Trump very much to be disgusted by what Mueller is doing. There isn't much love lost between Rand Paul and Trump apparently, but Paul, unlike most of his Senate colleagues, recognizes an un-constitutional witch hunt when he sees one and speaks out against it.

Someone compared Mueller's investigation with Lavrenti Beria's statement "Show me the man and I'll find the crime." That's exactly what's going on here.

If Muller can do something and it is legal, then Trump too!

Maybe Trump can announce the reinstatement of Obama Era IRS Programs... you get the drift, if it was okay for liberals then fight fire with fire - the Country has already accepted those red lines being crossed. God help Trump burn the DNC'ers with their ways.
