Federal judge in Texas says LGBT workers are protected from employment discrimination

A federal judge in Texas has ruled that workers can't be discriminated against based on their gender identity or sexual orientation.

Judge Lee Rosenthal - the chief judge in the Houston-based Souther District Court of Texas - ruled that workers are protected from such discrimination under the federal employment law that protects workers based on their gender, the Dallas Morning News reported.

The decision came during a case in which a woman claimed she was not hired by Phillips 66, an energy company, because she was transgender.

Rosenthal ruled that the woman, Nicole Wittmer, couldn't prove that she wasn't hired because she was transgender. But she also ruled that if Wittmer could prove she was discriminated against due to her gender identity, she would have cause to sue under federal law.

Out of control judge offers special preferred legal status to transgenders. A worker can sue under federal law for discrimination because of gender identity a Federal judge rules.

Is it OK to ask if being a nitwit is often a prerequisite for being a judge?

The solution is not to hire them to begin with. Anyone with a protected status can claim “discrimination” if they get fired.

They’re all highly emotional attention getters. Defenses are up 24/7 so anything is offensive....they know they’re not in their own mind.

Did the plaintiff or the judge produce scientific proof of transgenderism’s existence, to say nothing of its implementation and/or function in society?

If not, what’s to stop the next person from claiming they are a dog or Elmer J. Fudd, Millionaire, who owns a mansion and a yacht and being given legal notice of same?

Exactly. But it is now a violation of federal “law” to state that obvious truth.

It’s a logical progression that one day heterosexual behavior will be illegal.

The other problem with the LBGT protection clause is that it would protect very severely mentally ill people, including those who are dangerously unstable.
“Gender fluid” is “I’m a boy today, a girl tomorrow, I’m asexual Friday”. At least most transgenders are consistent in their delusion ... though the root cause of this is denying that it IS mental illness if the body doesn’t match the mental image.

I may be wrong —— and someone can jump in here to correct me,please -— but I suspect the Federal employment law specifies requires non-discrimination on the basis of sex, not gender.

The problem here is that just as 95% of the nation's "journalists" are Maoist at least 95% of the nation's lawyers are as well.
