Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz will have dinner Tuesday at the White House with President Donald Trump
He tells DailyMail.com that the Department of Justice violated Trump lawyer Michael Cohen's rights when it seized his documents on Monday
The government will set up a team of agents and lawyers to review the material to make sure prosecutors don't see anything 'privileged'
That could include documents covered by the sanctity of an attorney-client relationship, whose mere presence in prosecutors' hands could 'taint' a case
But since those 'taint teams' are made up of government agents, Dershowitz says the DOJ already has them – which is unconstitutional

That suggests there may be a serious legal challenge made to Mueller/Rosenstein.

I suspect that Dershowitz may see an avenue for a major constitutional case here. Just guessing, but Dershowitz has gone on the record savaging the raid on Trump’s lawyer.

Exactly. His entire career has dealt with stopping govt over-reach and prosecutorial misconduct. One can debate whether he takes it too far in some cases, but it would be great to have him on “our” side here, heh heh.

I doubt they will be too cozy, but if Dershowitz has some valuable legal/constitutional advice to offer, POTUS Trump and his team would be wise to know what it is.
Dershowitz and every lawyer should be savaging the DOJ over this. In fact, if I were a D.U.S.A I wouldn’t go near the documents seized from Cohen’s office. Looking at anything confidential under attorney-client privilege is grounds for disbarment.

I think I’ve discovered the problem. Mueller and Rosenstein are Russian agents. Think about it, they are destroying the American justice system. They are distracting an American President During very troubled times. I’ll bet those two are on the take big time
Ofcourse, they give us assurances that privileged material will be protected. Who these days will believe these promises by the Democrat DOJ/FBI?

Excactly. Had Mueller’s treasonous assault happened to Bush the GOPe would have beeen screaming from the top of the Capitol dome.
You can trace this “one set or rules for Trump., One set of rules for everybody” else back to the Never Trump movement during the primaries.
Everything has spiraled down from there, IMO. Those folks who started this hysteria have never been called to account on it.
When I think of the biased scumbags like Page, Strzok, et al., the idea that anyone in DOJ or FBI can simply be “trusted” to be on this “taint team” to review all of lawyer Cohen’s confidential records is simply preposterous.
I’ll be looking forward to Judge Jeanine Pirro’s monologue on Sunday.
