I’m not sure whether to be happy about this or not, mainly because I don’t know how his district looks politically. On the one hand, I have little use for Paul Ryan, so if he’s in a Congressional district that’s safe for Republicans, we’ll probably get someone better in his place, or at the very least someone who isn’t much worse. On the other hand, if he’s in a “purple” district, there’s always a chance that a Democrat fills his House seat.

Regardless of Trumps successes, the people don’t see it because all they hear is how scandal ridden Trump and the Republicans are and they see the Democrats as the party that “cares about people just like them”. The Mueller investigation has done irrepareable damage to Trump and his administration. I really don’t see any hope out there.
