I think the "if it saves even one child" argument is dubious, because it is just as likely -- more likely, I think --- to cause more children to be horribly victimized by wiping away the taboo against pedophilia, both in the minds of the pedos themselves and in the perception of society.

The whole concept of preferring and seeking sexual gratification with a child is corrupt. Such preferences and conduct should be considered verboten on any level: written fantasies, video porn, CGI-porn, "adult" anime, dolls.

These things manifest a corrupt mind, and people with such a mind should not be permitted to live without close restraint.

I agree with the dubiousness of it. In retrospect it is reminiscent of the typical liberal argument against guns. It was a bad comparison on my part. Also agree 100% with your last aent nice.
