Newt Gingrich: Comey has written an anti-Trump novel that will be amazingly discredited
Fox News ^ | April 13, 2018 | Newt Gingrich

Posted on 04/13/2018 9:12:51 AM PDT by jazusamo

My first reaction to fired FBI Director James Comey’s new book "A Higher Loyalty" is to demand that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein release the still-secret Comey memorandums describing his conversations with Donald Trump as president-elect and president. After seeing hundreds of pages of Comey’s self-serving version of reality, the American people deserve to see what he actually wrote at the time of these conversations.

I suspect the memos will undermine a lot of Comey’s case. In fact, it is hard to understand why Rosenstein is keeping these memos hidden – unless it weakens the Deep State’s case against President Trump.

There are two striking things about the initial leaks of the Comey anti-Trump novel. And I call it a novel because it will be amazingly discredited after the elite media is done fawning over Comey and people actually look at what he wrote and how he positioned himself.

Before you believe what is written in Comey’s book, you should watch this video compiled by the Republican National Committee to remember what leading Democrats said about Comey in 2016.

Chris Wallace was surprised at how ‘Bitchy’ the novel is. Bitter Comey rantings.

Sounds like Comey’s bias comes through overbearingly in his novel. Good. Let people see the snake for what he is.

They should buy air time on all the networks and play it about a thousand times this weekend.

Yes it reeks of partisanship and pettiness. Who writes in a book about the size of a man’s hands? Why would a 6’ 8” man try to put down the size of a man who is 6’ 3”?

It’s drivel. Director of FBI was “bullied” yeah OK. No, he was fired.

James Comey is a writer of fiction and has a wildly fanciful imagination.

The very best lies are those that have a plausible ring to them, and are actually incorporated with some nuggets of truth. But spleen and exaggeration have a way of spilling out and severely diluting the power of the narrative.

If the intent was to be effective (at eventually removing Trump as President), then there should have been a couple more rewrites undertaken before release.

Rate this writing exercise a “fail” at accomplishing its objective

Comey’s higher loyalty is to the Deep State.

Same with the Bush League Republicans who enable it.

The media has decided to focus on Trump wanting the prostitute charge completely disproved. They are saying it’s weird that a man wants his wife to know he was not with prostitutes.

Talk about insane twisting of a 100% normal and justified reaction. And keep in mind Comey is STILL saying it could be true. GO TRUMP!

Comey is a traitorous snake in my view.

I think you are giving him too much "courage".

From what I've seen and heard, he's a wienie, with an extreme inferiority complex, who overcompensates for his lack of morals/balls, by trying to destroy other people, using whatever means available.

Typical "mean girl syndrome" behavior.........

The media groveling at Comey’s feet during the book tour will be nauseating (not that I will watch). We need the discrediting campaign to be thorough. My only interaction with the book will be to move it from the front table at my local book store to the fiction section.

It’s possible Christopher Steele was Coney’s ghost writer. But, I don’t know.

I can’t figure out who gives a rat’s behind about what drama queen Comey has to say about anything. Do people actually BUY these books? I’m beginning to think these ‘book deals’ with swamp dwellers is nothing more than a corrupt political payoff ... like maybe the Teamsters buys ten million copies and throws them into a landfill ?
