Our problems are here. Striking Syria will make the problems here even much worse. Listening to Bolton is like using a hair dryer in the bathtub.

Let the Israelis smash Hezbollah and the Iranians into the ground as part of the strikes. Israel should also be allowed to take some Syrian territory to expand their buffer zone as a penalty.

Bolton joining the Trump administration was a bad sign. Bolton loves the smell of napalm in the morning, as long as he is 1000 miles away.

We often use a show of force as a motivator for other objectives. I think we are still trying to make sure we know who the targets of any retaliation should be.

Where are they getting these chemical weapons?

How so?

Problems here? You mean like the invasion on our southern border? Or the unconstitutional support California is giving illegals?

The president can walk and chew gum at the same time. I keep seeing posts that make Bolton out to be an extreme interventionist if not an outright (so-called) neocon, but I don’t see how they are backed up by his record. Sure, Bolton is in favor of vigorous projection of American power, but not in an interventionist program but a program of rebuilding American diplomatic prestige as The Leader on the world stage. I don’t think Bolton is a fan of “nation-building”, but using power the way it has always been used effectively by presidents who know shiites from shinola as the “Big Stick” to go along with clear leadership.
