Not really, if you consider that nuclear powered craft use steam-driven turbines. Nuclear power is just modern steam engines.

Nuclear wessels, carriers and subs, still run on steam. So I guess a portion of the ships and boats are steaming their way still.

CVNs and SSNs us nuclear power to create steam, which provides propulsion. Steaming is appropriate in their case.
