Of course it doesn’t make sense. It’s insane to get involved in another war. We are still in Korea, and the U.S.taxpayers are paying for it!!

Because he’s not always a rational actor? Brutal dictators tend to be like that.
That being said, I haven’t seen any evidence, definitive or otherwise, that the alleged war crime occurred, nor any convincing argument, if it occurred, that we should risk life and limb over it. Maybe the President can clear things up for us.

Why wouldn't he? It's not like this is the first time it's happened. A bunch of people here, a whole lot more there...they add up after a while. Doing it a little at a time makes it easier to get away with. Russia was supposed to ensure Assad got rid of all his chemical weapons. But did he?
